Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba yesterday entered the guiness book of record as the only stadium where a football match was played for more than 3 hours as well as becoming the stadium where highest penalty kicks was taken in single matches

In a match meant for the local govern football clubs in the state between  Akinyele local govt FC and Ibadan North FC ,the final of the Local Government Cup started around 4pm and could not be rounded up by 7pm as both teams ended up in a 1-1 draw, while penalty kicks of more than 25 each were played by both sides and yet the winner could not be determined.

The match was however postponed due to the fact that it is getting dark and the stadium has no flood light.

The  match would be replayed on Wednesday morning by 10am..
